HOME GROUPS INTEREST

Home Groups are one of the best ways to get connected at Reliance. Essentially, Home Groups are small gatherings of people that meet weekly in homes throughout the valley. They are designed to help facilitate community and growth in Christ through honest prayer, biblical fellowship, a shared meal, and a conversational Bible study through the Sunday Scripture and sermon.

Not only will you form Gospel-centered friendships, but attending a Home Group will provide opportunities for you to be edified, equipped, and encouraged as a disciple of Christ.

Home Groups meet for two semesters during the Spring and Fall. Meeting details vary by group. All Home Groups forgo their weekly meeting on the first week of the month in order to gather corporately with the rest of the church body at FIRST WEDNESDAY.

Home Groups are essential to the vision of Reliance Church as we aim to lead people to know, love, and serve Jesus. Joining a Home Group is a great way to “put feet on your faith” and practically live out the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Household Members - Please enter the names and ages of the family members that you would like to attend the Home Group with you. (Note: childcare is only offered for 0-3rd grade for Young Family groups)


Home Group Facilitator - The Facilitator is in charge of leading the overall group and especially the weekly meetings. The Facilitator calls the group together to start, facilitates the Bible study discussion, helps plan group get-togethers, and provides prayer support for the group.

Home Group Support - The Support is a jack of all trades who helps lead the group when the Facilitator is unable to. The Support helps with group communication, assists in the planning of group outings/events, and provides prayer support for the group.

Home Group Host - The Host is responsible for creating a clean and welcoming environment where people feel safe and comfortable to meet. The Host helps plan the group hospitality schedule, encourages members to contribute as needed, and provides prayer support for the group.

Home Group Contributing Member - A Contributing Member agrees to come prepared each week having listened to the Sunday sermon and meditated on the group discussion questions. A Contributing Member attends group events, promotes group unity, and provides prayer support for the group.
